Coach Jourdan Wickliffe

Iowa Phenom Basketball Skills Trainer

Jourdan “Coach Wick” Wickliffe is a dedicated coach, trainer, mentor, and proud father of Zakai and Ezekiel Wickliffe. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Jourdan attended Eastern Illinois University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications while building an outstanding collegiate athletic career.

As a student-athlete at Eastern Illinois, Jourdan was part of some of the most successful teams in program history, helping lead the Panthers to conference championships and record-setting seasons. He finished his career ranked second all-time in interceptions in school history and earned a reputation as a leader and playmaker on the field.

Following college, Jourdan continued his athletic career with the Iowa Barnstormers, where he served as a team captain and impact starter. In 2018, he helped bring Des Moines its first professional sports championship.

Today, Coach Wick applies the same discipline, leadership, and competitive mindset to developing young athletes. He has coached and trained athletes ranging from elementary school through the collegiate level in both basketball and football. Throughout his coaching career, he has helped develop multiple NIL-earning collegiate athletes and more than 15 athletes who have gone on to compete at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels.

Coach Wick is passionate about helping athletes improve their skills, build confidence, and develop the work ethic necessary to succeed both on and off the court.
